Workshops
Our workshops are a great way to explore and play with clay without committing to a full class schedule. Attend by yourself or bring someone you want to get to know better and come ready to create. Our workshops range from one to three sessions and offer the opportunity to complete an introductory hand-building experience or an exciting wheel-throwing session
Workshops are for ages 16+ and include clay, firing and glazing. Space is limited therefore, pre-registration is required. All pieces will be ready for pick-up 3-5 weeks following the class date.
All of our workshops are BYOB friendly.
Pottery Wheel Throwing Workshop
Workshop Date: Wednesday 9/10

Get a little dirty with us! No experience necessary, just come to the studio ready to create. Our skilled instructors will walk you through the basics of throwing on the pottery wheel. This is a fun and exciting intro for anyone looking to try something new!
This class is for ages 16+ and includes clay, firing and glazing of one piece of pottery per person. Additional pieces may be glazed and fired for a fee of $10 per piece.
Oktoberfest Beer Stein workshop with Beach Haus Brewery

Create a unique beer stein out of clay slabs! Our skilled instructors will take you step by step to design and assemble your very own stein to be filled with beer upon pickup at Beach Haus Brewery.
During this workshop you will practice texture printing on slabs then molding the clay into your stein. Each participant will create one 16 ounce pint glass.
This class is for ages 21+. Any participants without a valid ID at pickup will not be served. Pickup will be at Beach Haus Brewery on Sunday 10/12 between 12PM -7 PM.

Herb Stripping Bowl and Autumn Equinox Ritual with Sunshine Kates - SOLD OUT

As we prepare to embrace the next turning of the Wheel of the Year and honor the Autumn Equinox, join us for our next Pottery Ritual Workshop.
We will honor this Season of Harvest by making our own herb harvesting bowl.
This class is the perfect introduction to hand building with clay! Students will coil build a bowl in a custom mold and then create openings to pull your herbs through to use in all of your favorite fall dishes.
We will also move through a ritual, where we will offer gratitude towards the closing season of Summer and reflect back on our lives since the last Equinox, six months ago in March with the onset of Spring. Then journey into a Gratitude and Harvest Ritual to welcome in the Autumn Equinox. Everyone will leave with a tool to continue to tend towards over this season upon us.
