Workshops
Our workshops are a great way to explore and play with clay without committing to a full class schedule. Attend by yourself or bring someone you want to get to know better and come ready to create. Our workshops range from one to three sessions and offer the opportunity to complete an introductory hand-building experience or an exciting wheel-throwing session
Workshops are for ages 16+ and include clay, firing and glazing. Space is limited therefore, pre-registration is required. All pieces will be ready for pick-up 3-5 weeks following the class date.
All of our workshops are BYOB friendly.
Paint Pallette and Introduction to Watercolor Class w/ In the Wash Art Works

Kick off your creative journey by crafting your own handbuilt watercolor pallet with BCP. Students will create their custom palette by using slabs of clay and carving tools to create a fun and functional palette to use at home.
Then dive into an introductory floral watercolor class where you’ll learn to paint vibrant blooms while exploring techniques that add texture depth & life into your botanical pieces.
This class is for ages 16+ and includes all clay and watercolor materials, firing and glazing of one piece of pottery per person.

Get a little dirty with us! No experience necessary, just come to the studio ready to create. Our skilled instructors will walk you through the basics of throwing on the pottery wheel. This is a fun and exciting intro for anyone looking to try something new!
This class is for ages 16+ and includes clay, firing and glazing of one piece of pottery per person. Additional pieces may be glazed and fired for a fee of $10 per piece.

Hand Built Mug Workshop - SOLD OUT

Create a custom mug out of clay slabs! Our skilled instructors will take you step by step to design and assemble your very own drinkware.
During this workshop you will practice texture printing on slabs then the molding clay into your cozy coffee mug. Each participant will create one individualized mug and pick out a custom combination of glazes.

The Summer Solstice is the longest day & shortest night of the year. It is a sacred and vibrant season of vitality, life and light in the Northern Hemisphere. This is the season of growth and transformation. Fire has been an integral thread to rituals and honoring this turning of the wheel since ancient times.
Join us for this practice of hand-building a candle stick and palo santo to honor this time.
We will explore a sacred ritual for ourselves and in community to welcome and celebrate this new season upon us. You will leave with a toolkit to integrate and explore all summer long.
